The Road Less Traveled.
Ever been down the bike path on the southern end of Minnehaha park? It starts at 54th street.
If you head down this path from Minnehaha, on the right hand side you will see a chain link fence with a barbed wire on the
top. There is a gate that is always closed. If you have ever wondered where that road goes, here it is. It goes through the East
Woods. Go back and click on the rest of the pictures, and you will know the potential. This area has an unprecedented
chance to become park land. Parkland  is what the area was supposed to be when Horace Cleveland designed the Minneapolis Park System in the 1890's.

Think about this, we have a chance to replace the Oak Savanna that the Hwy. 55 Reroute destroyed!
