On October 28, 2013 CenterPoint Energy is scheduled to begin replacing approximately 2,600 feet of 10-inch steel natural gas distribution pipe with a 6-inch pipe. The digging for the pipe is to be 4 to 5 feet deep- well above the rock and groundwater fractures that feeds Coldwater Spring.
